He received his Masters in Computer Science and Bachelor Degree in Mathematics/Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, respectively. Dr. Abdulai has contributed immensely to the deployment of Information Technology in many organizations in Ghana, particularly the public sector. As the Vice-President of Internet Society Ghana Chapter he collaborated with the International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD) in Netherlands to organize the first National ICT Round-Table Discussion in Ghana. This culminated in the initiation of five ICT related projects:An E-Commerce application for Non-Traditional Exports for the Ministry of Food andAgriculture, An Environmental Information Network managed by the Environment Protection Agency, An ICT Policy for the Health Sector A Center for Information and Communication Technology and subsequently, GINKS – The Ghana Information Network for Knowledge Sharing. Dr. Abdulai has also served on a number of ICT committees and boards in Ghana; notable among them being the National ICT Policy and Planning Committee and the National Communications Authority (NCA) Board. As a consultant for the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), he actively participated in the development of the National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI) Strategy Document for Ghana and carried out a survey on E-Commerce Adoption, Deployment and Assimilation in West Africa, under the auspices of the ECA/IDRC Pan-African Initiative on E-Commerce. Professionally, he is affiliated to the Computer Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), the Information Technology Association of Ghana (ITAG) and the Ghana Science Association. Currently, Dr. Abdulai is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ghana Chapter of theInternet Society, the President of the IT Association of Ghana and the Vice-President in charge of Institutional Research Innovation and Development at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). Prior to taking this job he was the Director of IT Services and Technology at UPSA. As the Director of IT Services and Technology at UPSA he facilitated the institutional collaboration between UPSA and a number of institutions/organizations around the world; such as The Open University of the United Kingdom, faculty and student exchange between UPSA and some Korean Universities, establishment of a Korean Corner in the UPSA Library by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ghana and the UPSA – Google Partnership. He is also facilitating collaboration between the Electronic and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of Ghana, collaboration between the World Technoparks Association (WTA) and the Ministry of Environment Science, Technology and Innovation of Ghana to establish a Science Park in the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone (NSEZ) of Ghana.

Prior to joining MIST he was the head of library at data link University College in Tema Ghana . He studied in the University of Ghana where he obtained all his academic degrees and qualification. He is a member of the Ghana library association. In addition to his responsibilities as a university librarian he teaches research method for under graduate students. He also serves as student adviser on academic writing. Mr. Hardi is instrumental in the establishment of Mist library.

Abdul-Rashad was born in Salaga, Ghana on the 20th of October, 1986, but a native of Lingbensi in the North Gonja district of Ghana. He graduated from Northern Senior High School (2005). He graduated from Tamale Polytechnic (2009) and University of Professional Studies (2013) and obtained HND in Accounting and BSc in Accounting respectively. In addition, he is professional certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana in 2014. After receiving his Polytechnic Education, Abdul-Rashad did his National Service with Chereponi Senior High School as a core-maths tutor. He later joint the Chereponi Community Co-operative Credit Union in its establishment as the Accounts Officer and acting Manager (April 2010-July 2011) During his University education, he worked as part-time Accounts officer for Ikiki Limited-Spintex Road (Accra). Upon graduation he worked with Shahin Construction Ltd and Happy Homes Ltd, serving as an Accountant in both companies.
