 Mr. Salem K. Kalmoni is a founding member and the Executive Chairman of the MIST
Governing Council. He is the Managing Director of Japan Motors Trading Company
Limited since 1990.      
Japan Motors is one of the leading automobile firms in Ghana and the authorized NISSAN distributor in Ghana, Senegal, Mali and Togo.

Mr. Kalmoni is also the Executive Director of KALMONI GROUP of Companies (Silver
Star Automobile, Silver Star Towers Limited, Oman Forfor Limited and Lakeside
Estates Limited). He is also the President of Baraka Policy Institute, a Think
Tank focused on Social Issues and Education.

Mr.Kalmoni obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (1988) degree from XYZ
University, Canada, and Executive Master of Governance and Leadership (2011)
from GIMPA and an Advanced Management Degree (2012) from Harvard Business
School.
